Tennessee Boar Hunting Pictures

This boar was taken on one of our hunts when we were hunting with dogs. Dogs aren't required to hunt boar, but they are a great and exciting option. Facing down an angry boar after dogs have located it and keep it bayed as you move in for a shot can really get your heart rate up. Hunting boar with dogs requires a chase that some hunters might find to physically tiring because you have to move quickly to get to where the dogs are. However, if you are in pretty good physical condition, enjoy watching hounds work, and have the cojones to face down an angry wild boar you might want to consider using hounds  on your boar hunt.
